We welcome you to join us in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA for the 4th International Conference on the Globalization of Second Language Acquisition and Teacher Education. GSLATE2026 will be held from Saturday through Monday, May 2-4, 2026.

  • Section I: General Details

  • Capitalize the first letter only of each name (i.e. Kim Tanaka). Do not use all uppercase.
  • Section II: Email Policy and Contact Details

  • We require that you provide the email address issued to you by your school, institution or employer. If you do not have a verifiable email address, contact the Secretariat.
  • For your personal email address, it is fine to submit Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.
  • Capitalize the first letter only of each word (i.e. Center University)
  • Section III: Abstract Submission Guidelines

  • Use Title Case (i.e. The History of Language). Do NOT type title in all uppercase.
  • Do NOT begin submission with word Abstract. Do NOT include title. Do NOT include your name.
  • Section IV: Main Author Information

    Include the names of all authors in the order they should appear in the proceedings.
  • Do NOT include titles such as "Dr Ms., Mr. etc."
    Do NOT include degrees such as "Ph.D."
    Do NOT type details in all capitals.
  • Do NOT type university name in all capitals.
  • Section V: Additional Author Details (optional)

    Include the names of all authors in the order they should appear in the proceedings.



  • If you have more than 5 authors, please input the following details: Full Name, School, Country, Email Address

  • Section VI: Presenter Biography

    Please provide a short 100 word biography about yourself (i.e. your position, research interest, associations, etc). Do NOT list your publications.
  • Section VII: Submission Policies

  • Confirming grants the organizers the right to include your abstract in the proceedings.
  • For corrections related to the program schedule and proceedings, please contact the secretariat.
  • Section VIII: Important Reminders & Policies

  • Dubious applications will be rejected and deleted without notice.
  • Acceptance letters cannot and will not be edited or reissued after submitting the application. Edits are only permissible for the program schedule and proceedings.
